Volunteer Spotlight – Rozmary Seastrom

Aug 18, 2025

Rozmary Micheri Seastrom is a highly valued member and volunteer; she is the sole connection between art and Patriots’ Hall. Rozmary is a Navy military spouse of James S. who served 20 years as a Chief Gunner’s Mate.

During their active-duty years, frequent relocations made it difficult for Rozmary to pursue her career as an interior designer—so she turned to art.

What began as a creative outlet during challenging times evolved into a constant in her life, eventually becoming a source of purpose and income. Her work is truly unique: transforming ordinary photographs into expressive, tangible art that captures the beauty behind each image (a self-portrait below).

Rozmary connected with Patriots’ Hall during the construction phase and quickly embraced the mission. Since then, she’s been a dedicated volunteer, spearheading Austin Veteran Arts Festival (AVAFEST) at Patriots’ Hall, leading crafts for families and kids, and introducing our popular stained glass program through her connection with the Dripping Springs Art League.

Our art classes continue to thrive thanks to Rozmary’s talent, heart, and commitment. We’re deeply grateful for her creativity and service to our community.
