Pillars of Support

At Patriots’ Hall of Dripping Springs, we offer a comprehensive support system for veterans, active military, and their families. Our programs are designed to empower veterans in all aspects of life—career, social connection, wellness, and mental health.

We believe in a holistic approach to transition and integration, ensuring that veterans receive the resources, skills, and community support they need to thrive.

Our services are structured around three key pillars:

01

Belonging

A supportive and engaging veteran community

We know that meaningful connections are essential for a strong support system. Our programs foster camaraderie and belonging through regular gatherings, interest-based groups, and volunteer opportunities.

Community Gatherings – Monthly social events like First Fridays, Taco Tuesdays, and seasonal celebrations

Targeted Support Groups – Spaces for women veterans, military spouses, and parents

Special Interest Activities – Speaker series, hobby-based meetups, personal development workshops, and book clubs

Volunteer Opportunities – Veterans helping other veterans through on-site and off-site volunteering

02

Wellness

Supporting physical, mental, and emotional health through engaging and accessible programming

We believe true wellness comes from addressing the full spectrum of well-being—body, mind, and spirit. Our programs are designed to reduce stress, combat isolation, and empower veterans and their families to heal, connect, and thrive through activity, practical skill-building, expression, and support.

Creative Expression – Art, music, writing workshops, and storytelling

Skills-Building – CPR/First Aid certification, forging, woodworking, and gardening

Group Fitness & Challenges – community workouts, obstacle course events, and team-based wellness activities (rucking and running)

Professional Therapy – In collaboration with Samaritan Center and Austin Vet Center, we offer counseling services for veterans and families

Peer Support – Veteran-led groups and TVC-certified peer service coordination

Alternative Therapies – Yoga, mindfulness, and equine therapy to support emotional healing

Outdoor Adventures – Fly-fishing, hiking, hunting, and nature retreats

Whether it’s through movement, creativity, or conversation, every activity is designed to meet veterans where they are—and help guide them forward.

03

Economic Empowerment

Building financial stability and career success

Navigating life after service can be challenging and we provide veterans with the tools and connections they need to achieve financial independence and build fulfilling careers.

Benefits Navigation – VA benefits support via Hays County and TVC specialists, VA home loan guidance, and legal resources

Employment Support – Job search assistance, resume coaching, and interview preparation

Financial Education – Personal finance literacy, budgeting workshops, and retirement planning

Business Development – Entrepreneurship coaching, networking events, and guest speaker series

Curated Job Fairs – Connecting veterans with veteran-friendly employers and business mentors

Veteran voices

As Air Force veterans, my husband and I felt a void for veterans in Dripping Springs. We were inspired to become founding sponsors, and I’m proud to serve as an active member and Ambassador for PHDS. Patriots Hall provides invaluable assistance through a Veteran Service Officer and counseling for all veterans, regardless of branch or affiliation. Being surrounded by fellow veterans and their families has rekindled that vital sense of community in my life. Attending my first Women’s Veterans group this month was unforgettable—the camaraderie was instant, transforming strangers into sisters in arms by the time we left.

Celena Spry

U.S. Air Force Veteran, Volunteer

Patriots’ Hall has offered me a place to belong, close to home. As a man and as someone without school-aged children in a town largely centered around young families, finding real community can be challenging, but Patriots’ Hall gave me a consistent space to connect with others with shared backgrounds and experiences. It also gave me a way to serve. Being involved with Patriots’ Hall allows me to give back to my community in a way that aligns with my values and experience, and their facility has become a hub I can count on to be there, week after week, where meaningful conversations happen and lasting connections are made.

Craig Starcher

U.S. Marine Veteran, Advisor and Volunteer

I proudly support Patriots’ Hall because of their strong commitment to honoring and supporting our military, Veterans, and their families. Their dedication to building a space for connection, community, and camaraderie is a powerful testament to the respect our Veterans deserve.

Gardening and farming as been a big part of transitioning out of the military and feeling like I belong again.

Christian Ramirez

The Hall isn’t just for Dripping Springs - it serves Central Texas and the surrounding communities. I’m grateful for that, and that they go above and beyond for Veterans.

Ernest Banasau

I am a huge fan of Patriots’ Hall because it is designed from the ground up to support Veterans, their families, and the organizations that share their mission.
